ServeSA's ICT training centres continue to flourish

ServeSA's MICT SETA Information Technology End User Computing courses throughout South Africa continued to progress in 2025.

ServeSA’s MICT SETA Information Technology End User Computing courses throughout South Africa continued to progress in 2025. In total there were 230 graduates from the 13 ICT training centres, all of whom were sponsored through the generosity of Entelect Software. This ongoing partnership with Entelect provides people who would otherwise not be able to afford further studies with an invaluable opportunity to learn new skills.

At the end of the year, Alpha Omega Mission hosted healing seminars for the beneficiaries of each training centre. After hearing the testimonies of Alpha Omega Mission’s founding members, beneficiaries were given the opportunity to be prayed over, while priests were available to hear their Confessions. At the end of each seminar, Holy Mass was celebrated and those who had attended the religious instruction classes and wished to receive the Sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Communion, were able to do so.

At the end of May 2026, ServeSA also announced the winners and runners-up from each of our training centres participating in the Alpha Omega Schools ICT Project. The 2025 assignment was based on selected topics covered by extracurricular religious instructors. It tested each student’s knowledge gained from the weekly classes, their ability to conduct research and to use their newly acquired ICT skills to present their findings. The winners and runners-up from each of the 13 training centres received financial awards.
